Bidwell Continuation High School at 800 Gary Avenue, Antioch, California.

I loved it

I attended a couple High Schools before, but Bidwell was the best for me. Smaller classrooms made it easier, because that way the teachers were able to give more of their attention towards the students and their needs. I loved all their classes. The teachers there had an interesting and fun way of teaching their subjects. The classes that stuck with me the most were Jim Maganas Economics class and Ms. Torlaksons Government class. I also loved every english class I took there. I remember staying after class with an english teacher one time and we talked about a poem we were reading in class. We read it and took it apart to help me understand it better. Everyone there were very helpful. It was really easy to make friends too. A lot of the students there are really open and welcoming. Since its a continuation high school everyone has their own story of why they are there. Sometimes you can relate, sometimes its just interesting to get to know the person. I would highly recommend this High School to anyone else who is struggling at any other High School or would just like to go to a more teacher-student school.
